Retreats are a few days away from daily activities and noises. They help us to pause, be more in tune with ourselves, and reserve time to hear God's voice. Retreats offer a longer time than Quiet Days as it can take some time to quiet down from the busyness of our lives in order to be able to connect with ourselves, our world and God.

Week of Guided Prayer, sometimes referred to as "a retreat in daily life", is like a retreat except that you remain in your normal day to day routines, choosing to consistently spend a half hour in prayer each day through the week, and having the opportunity to talk with a spiritual director daily.
