Late Winter: Early Spring Events Late winter and early spring naturally offer rich opportunities for contemplative mediation and prayer. SGM Wellington offers various opportunities for us to emerge out of deep winter into the season of life and joy. Please click links on this page for more info about these events... The Eastern Suburbs Anglican Parishes: Miramar/Seatoun/Strathmore, Lyall Bay, Haitaitai/Kilbirnie and Roseneath are joining together to host a Week of Guided Prayer during Lent 2013.
The week will run from an opening service at 4pm on Sunday 10th March in St George's, Seatoun to a concluding service at 7pm on Friday 15th March - venue to be advised. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with a trained and licensed spiritual director daily Monday-Friday during the Week for 30-40mins. Want to know more, or how to register? Rotoiti Hi SGM Wellington Friends and Visitors Registrations for the annual 2 & 4 Day SGM Residential Retreats at Waikanae are soon to close. You'll notice on the above page that dates for the February 2013, SGM 7 Day Retreat have been set. Also, that a couple of weekend Retreats with Esther de Waal are being offered early in Advent. Esther is also offering two Quiet days - one in Palmerston North and the other in Wellington while she is here. A brochure has been posted advertising a Raumati South Week of Contemplative Prayer 9-14 September Finally, I am currently compiling the Wellington section of the National SGM 2013 Programme.
