Care for the Carers – A retreat day for friends and family of those with Dementia

Caring for a friend or family member with dementia is challenging. Seeing someone close to you develop, live with and die from dementia takes its toll.

You are invited to take a day out to acknowledge, process, have compassion for and invite God into this place in your life.

The day is designed for those who are currently in this situation, or have been in this place in the past.
 
There will be times of solitude, discussion, prayer and some content with resources.
 
Dates:        Saturday 21st or Monday 23rd of June
Time:          9.30 am – 3.30 pm
Place:         Petone Baptist Church
Cost:          $40 waged, $20 unwaged
Please bring your own lunch. Hot drinks provided.
